It’s Coming! It’s Coming!
September 2nd, 2008 | by Kim |I was outside tonight grilling my dinner when I noticed something so beautiful it made me gasp. There on my dogwood tree is a deep, red leaf. Fall is coming folks, fall is coming…
I love fall. It is my favorite season–followed by winter, spring then dreadful summer! I love the colors of the leaves, pumpkins and hay bales, that first crisp morning when the sky is as blue as the deep blue sea-oh I can’t wait! Football games, chili, ”light” sweaters (this is Alabama) and bon fires…is there anything better?
Enjoy the last few weeks of summer, because fall is around the corner! AND I CAN’T WAIT!!

I’m with you, Kim! My seasonal notifier is the garden shop at Lowe’s and this past weekend it was filled with the kaleidoscope of the early Mum’s. The orange and burgandy and rust and yellow blooms are waiting patiently on humans to come to the realization that it’s time for change. October is THE MONTH of the year for me!

I love your blog. I found it on al.com. I’ve just started the blogging process and I am very eager to read other women’s writings. I agree with you Fall is wonderful and I’m so ready to smell that crisp cool air and break out my winter clothes!
