Today I Am Thankful For…

As I leave for work, it occured to me that I have much to be thankful for today.  Here are just a few things:

  • The slow rain
  • My job
  • Daughters

    As always, family, friends, job (even on the bad days it’s a good job), place to live, and food to eat (I’m over-blessed with that one).

    Today’s “specials” …. my a/c is fixed! It’s been out for the last three days, so maybe I can sleep tonight. And rain …. this all-day-slow-soaking-into-the-ground-and-turning-the-world-green-again rain.

    1. My honest, easy-going, husband!
    2. The Olympics where everyone comes together!
    3. Chocolate Rasberry Truffle Ice Cream at Brusters!

    This could be a very long list … but I’ll keep it short & sweet, too.

    1. I am so thankful for the sufficiency of God’s grace.
    2. My children and their children (all 7 of them).
    3. True friends!
    4. That I drive a Honda!
